Sophia Eliana has studied contemporary, improvisation, Afro-Latin-Jazz, pom, hip-hop, studio jazz, ballet, acrobatics, heels, modern, capoeira, and street dance, learning from instructors Dianne Lyle, Tatum May, Maryann DeAngelis, Laurel Weingand, Reynaa Estevez, Clara Barbera, Cameron McKinney, and Dani Robbins. Sophia Eliana’s teaching background began as a dance assistant for Dianne Lyle's Afro-Latin-Jazz classes in Pacific Grove, California. Her dedication extended to teaching contemporary-jazz fusion to students aged 6-16 and adult burlesque-jazz at Next Generation Dance Alliance in Ellsworth, Maine. Cultivating spaces of patience, empowerment, and inclusivity form the core of Sophia Eliana’s teaching philosophy. Sophia Eliana's performance career highlights include her time as a dance soloist in Berklee a Les Arts: A propósito de Elektra in Valencia, Spain, directed by Magdalini Giannikou and Clara Barbera and collaborations with Dani Robbins in dance-theatre work, "PLAYFIGHT." Sophia Eliana has had the pleasure of performing Dani Robbins' company works at various venues, including Engine Biddeford, PortFringe in Portland, ME, NACHMO in Boston, MA, and the Reykjavík Fringe Festival in Reykjavík, Iceland.

Currently, Sophia Eliana instructs “Plants & Dance” at Harmonist Sanctuary in Denver, CO every Wednesday from 7:00 - 8:15 PM. Additionally, she regularly offers “Bookstore Burlesque” at Denver-based bookstore, Petals & Pages.
